Rasha

Windsor has been my city and Ward 4 has been my home for 26 years. This community helped shape the person I am today. I know its beauty, and I have seen its struggles from the inside.

I am running to be a voice for residents who feel overlooked, to bring their concerns to City Council and serve with integrity, compassion and accountability.

It is time to be the change we deserve!

A Real Plan for Ward 4

Honest solutions for the issues that matter most — unhoused residents, boosting our local economy, and a safer, more connected community.

Layer 1

Unhoused in Ward 4

Compassion, Safety, and Housing First

Homelessness in Windsor is growing and Ward 4 feels it every day. The root cause is unaffordable rent and a shortage of affordable and government-assisted housing. This policy leads with compassion for both people experiencing homelessness and the residents of our community. Built around a genuine Housing First approach: stable housing immediately, without preconditions, with the wraparound supports people need to stay housed. No one should lose their housing because the support they needed wasn't there. The evidence is clear — Housing First is the most effective, humane, and cost-efficient path forward.

Boosting Local Economy & Ethical City Spending

Windsor First. Always accountable, never complicit.

Windsor's tax dollars belong in our economy — boosting local businesses, improving quality of life, and serving the people of this city. But right now, city spending may be flowing to corporations that don't serve our interests, contradict our values, or are complicit in human rights abuses. Through detailed disclosure of city spending, divestment from corporations that don't reflect our values, and reinvestment in our local economy, Windsor can become a city that puts its people first, honours its values, and builds a future we can all be proud of.

Safe Spaces & Active Community

Always Welcoming, Enjoyed by All

Ward 4 is home to some of Windsor's most diverse and vibrant neighbourhoods, rich in history, beautiful parks, tree-lined streets, and green spaces that define our community. These spaces should be safe, welcoming, and accessible to everyone — families, seniors, youth, cyclists, dog walkers, and residents of every background, culture, and identity. By improving streets and public spaces, investing in youth programming, and creating events that bring neighbours together, we can build a safer, more active, and more connected Ward 4.

A Councillor for Everyone

Ward 4 deserves a councillor who is present, involved, and genuinely connected to the community she serves. A councillor who lives in the community, walks the same streets, attends the same events, and faces the same challenges as the people she represents. One who returns your call, responds to your email, and treats every concern, big or small, with the same attention and respect. That is my commitment to you.
